What is Yoga Therapy?

Good question! A yoga therapist meets a client where they are at to relieve dis-ease and help them find connection within. A yoga therapist not only addresses the client’s physical well-being but any issues going on in their mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual lives as well. We delve deep into every area of a person’s life to help them find their way to wholeness. This could include addressing issues such as insomnia, chronic pain, breathing, injuries, trauma, cancer, anxiety, grief, finding purpose in life, and much more. A yoga therapist looks at the whole person and guides them using movement, somatics, breathing, meditation, mindful living, balancing chakras etc… Find out more by contacting Shari Williams.
