What is Yoga Therapy?

Good question! A yoga therapist has extensive training (about 1000 hours compared to a 200 hour yoga teacher training) in knowing how to meet a client where they are at to relieve dis-ease and help them find connection within. A yoga therapist not only addresses the client’s physical well-being but any issues going on in their mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual lives as well. We delve deep into every area of a person’s life to help them find their way to wholeness. This could include addressing issues such as insomnia, chronic pain, breathing, injuries, trauma, cancer, anxiety, grief, finding purpose in life, and much more. A yoga therapist looks at the whole person and guides them using movement, somatics, breathing, meditation, mindful living, balancing chakras etc… Find out more with a Discovery Call!
